Let's Catch Up! - January, 2010

January was also a very busy month for us, but a much sadder one for my family.  We lost my Mammy (pictured in a previous blog in our 5-generation picture), and also my Uncle Scott.  Both were very special people in my life and will be greatly missed.  I have so many wonderful memories of our family together and they each have left a hole in our lives that can only be filled with sweet memories.

Here are a few pictures with captions - mostly of Natalie - to show how much she has grown.

Natalie - 4 months old

Natalie is rolling over from front to back very quickly now, and can roll from back to front with a little help.  She is making all kinds of noises and squeals and laughs a lot.  She is such a happy baby and has been such a blessing in our lives!

Darran and I went to the Brad Paisley concert in January.  It was a birthday gift to me from Darran!

Here's Natalie in her jumper with her hands in her mouth - a scene we see often these days!  She loves to jump and she loves to put things in her mouth!

Her 4-month shots didn't seem to phase her!  Here she is with her little band-aids on her legs!

Here is Lily "babysitting" - Ha Ha!

Towards the middle of January, Natalie got her first cold and a double ear infection.  Before it was all over, Darran and I were sick too.  Natalie made such a pitiful face when she took her antibiotic!

The weekend of Darran's birthday we travelled to Dean and Michelle's in Ft. Gibson.  This was Natalie's longest car ride and she did great - mostly slept the whole way!  She also enjoyed watching her first basketball games.  Brianna and Caden both had ballgames that weekend.  We also had some family pictures taken while we were there.  Here are a few of our favorites.

So glad that we had these pictures taken!  Great idea, Granny and Michelle!  Thanks to Dean and Michelle for having us over to their house!
